Marita Winters (Winters Whimsies) has three new resin babies out for 2009 Spring/Summer.
These are each done in an Artist Limited Edition of 10 (worldwide) with 1 prototype of each. Each doll is finished differently making them almost like a one-of-a-kind doll.
The collector can choose to have them made as a boy or girl, and can choose hair color, eye color, skin color and costume. These dolls are between 8" and 9". They are created in resin from original clay sculpts by Marita Winters. Each resin baby is meticulously hand-molded and poured one at a time by a master mold maker in high quality art resin.

They are then sent back to Marita who hand paints each tiny detail, sets the eyes in the open eyed babies, and adds the hair and styles it. When this is all finished, an outfit made by Marita's sister Barb Gerde, is chosen to complete the baby. The dolls have resin heads, arms and legs with a soft, poseable body.
