Among the artists and producers presenting their creations were many baby doll artists including Andrea Arcello who we met up with on Saturday.
American doll artist Olivia Stone, who last year signed up to have a doll produced by German producers Real Effect, promoted their doll kit "Suzanna". Olivia did kit signings for Suzanna who will be available in the second half of February.
Berenguer were displaying a selection of their new 19" babies. These dolls which retail at $250 are limited to 100 units and have been personally signed by Salvatore Berenguer.
American sculptor Angela Harris presented her silicon doll series which, as last year was a particular treat for doll collectors.
Apart from the babies there were also many other booths offering a wide spread of dolls. This variety was personified by the large booth from the Professional Doll Artist Guild - which is administered by Pro Sculpts Jack Johnson.
For those interested in Resin babies, English doll magazine Discover Dolls presented a selection of creations crafted by Greek doll artist Tina Kewy. These tiny dolls made a wonderfull souvenier at only $49.
Berenguer, made full use of the fact that they had collected their 2 Colliii Awards at the Gala Dinner the night before, by displaying the new awards at their booth.
All in all Saturdays event was a success and the hundreds of visitors went home (or to the rooms in the hotel) more than satisfied.
