The Colliii Awards 2009 are celebrating the most beautiful dolls from around the world

Here are the categories:

Cat 1.) One of a kind (OOAK)

This award is for all dolls that have been hand modelled and either oven or air hardened and are in the following sub catergories.

1. Newborn: a realistic reproduction of a new born baby.
2. Baby: a realistic reproduction of a baby age 1-3 months.
3. Toddler: a realistic reproduction of a baby age 3-24 months.
4. Special Effects: Rooted hair, particularly well modelled effects for example mouth cavity etc.
5. Mini Babys: a realistic reproduction of a new born baby, reproduced with a maximum size of 25cm.

Awards or prizes for these categories will be the following:

• Best One of a kind Overall 2009 (Peoples Choice)
• Best Newborn 2009 (Jury Award)
• Best Baby 2009 (Jury Award)
• Best Toddler 2009 (Jury Award)
• Best Special Effects 2009 (Jury Award)
• Best Mini Baby 2009 (Jury Award)

Cat 2) Reborn, Newborn, Reallife

Dolls that are made from vinyl kits can be registered, in other words vinyl dolls made from play dolls and artistic dolls. These include the following sub catergories: 

1. Rooting: Hand rooted hair with a realistic growth direction from either animal or human hair (eg Mohair).
2. Painting: 2. Painting - Hand painted dolls. Attention to diverse details such as veins and skin.
3. Presentation: Overall impression, clothing, weight and originality of the presentation.
4. Special Effects: Rooted eyebrows, one-hair-rooting, birth marks etc.

Awards or prizes for these categories will be the following:

• Best Reborn Overall 2009 (Peoples Choice)
• Best Rooting 2009 (Jury Award)
• Best Painting 2009 (Jury Award)
• Best Presentation 2009 (Jury Award)
• Best Special Effects 2009 (Jury Award)

Cat 3.) Artistic dolls from large/industrial manufacturers:

All mass produced baby dolls can register, these include silicon and vinyl dolls.
The artists that modelled the original mould for the doll or the manufacturer can register for the award.
The subcatergories include:

1. Newborn: Realistic reproduction of a new born baby.
2. Baby: Realistic reproduction of a baby age 1-3 months.
3. Toddler: Realistic reproduction of a baby age 3- 24 months.

Awards or prizes for these categories will be the following:

• Best Newborn Collector Doll 2009 (Peoples choice)
• Best Baby Collector Doll 2009 (Peoples choice)
• Best Toddler Collector Doll 2009 (PPeoples choice)

Cat 4) Vinyl doll kits

All doll kits for baby dolls in realistic dimensions can register.

1. Doll kit up to 18 inch (48cm): Realistic reproduction of a baby
   up to 48cm in size. The kit must include at least head, arms and legs
   made of vinyl.
2. Doll kits up to 20 inch (52cm): Realistic reproduction of a
   baby up to 52cm in size. The kit must include at least head, arms and
   legs made of vinyl.
3. Doll kits larger than 20 inch (52cm): Realistic reproduction of a baby larger than 52cm in size. The kit must include at least head, arms and legs made of
   vinyl.

Awards or prizes for these categories will be the following:

• Best Small Size Dollkit 2009 (Peoples choice)
• Best Medium Size Dollkit 2009 (Peoples choice)
• Best Large Size Dollkit 2009 (Peoples choice)

Cat 5) Best realistic baby like play doll

All play dolls that fulfill the European toy standard EN71, and conform to the CE regulations for children age 3 and over can enter.

1. Play dolls up to 18 inch (48cm):
   Realistic reproduction up to 18 inch (48cm)
2. Play dolls up to 20 inch (52cm):
   Realisitic reproduction up to 20 inch (52cm)
3. Play dolls larger than 20 inch (52cm):
   Realistic reproduction over 20 inch (52cm)

Awards or prizes for these categories will be the following:

• Best Small Play Doll 2009 (Peoples choice)
• Best Medium Play Doll 2009 (Peoples choice)
• Best Large Play Doll 2009 (Peoples choice)

Cat 6) VIP Award

This prize be awarded by the event organisers. Every year we would like to honour a person for their contribution and special work.
